Pilates
Our studio provides complimentary Pilates mats, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. All packages are non refundable although they are transferable
To get optimal results we recommend Pilates be practiced at least twice a week in addition to a regular cardio routine. We are happy to show you exercises to do at home or while you travel. A description of our classes is below and we also offer in home training. See Studio Rates page for prices.
Mat
Matwork Essentials Beginner Series - New to Pilates?
This is where you start. In this introductory course, you will learn the basic principles of Pilates and learn how to apply them to the essential level mat exercises. Learn modifications that work for your posture, because not everyone was made the same. This mat-based workout is designed to help participants develop leaner, longer-looking muscles, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness. Come try it out and see what all the hype is about!
Mat All Levels (Flexion-Free)
In a flexion-free Pilates class, you will learn new ways to work the whole body without using flexion and try fun exercises that safely add challenge to your workout while staying in neutral!

Reformer

Reformer - Athletic Conditioning
This class will challenge your body in all plains of motion. The athletic programming on the reformer is for people who want to improve their balance, cross train for their favourite sport, or simply to get in a full body workout that focuses on multiple muscle groups. You will feel stronger, more balanced, and stretched at the end of your session.
Prerequisite - You must have previous pilates experience to participate in reformer classes. If you are new to pilates you must first take at least 2 private lessons to learn the basic principles of pilates or have taken at least 5 beginner Mat classes first.
Reformer Jump
This reformer workout will have you jumping on a jumpboard which allows for repetitions that are easy on the joints while providing a stable surface for plyometric exercises. In between various jump sequences you'll be doing a variety of reformer exercises to challenge your core and upper body.

Reformer All Levels
Reformer All Levels This class will take you through the reformer exercises giving you options at your reformer level. You will gain more strength and see the changes happening as your muscles become longer, leaner and stronger!

Barre
Barre
Being Pilates based, all exercises focus on posture, precision of movement and movement with breath. Posture Awareness Unlike traditional Pilates, Barre work is done standing. By exercising and strengthening the body in a functional standing position, we can be incredibly aware of our posture and correct postural imbalances. Precision of Movement It is the precision on the movements that makes Pilates so effective in creating strong, lean, beautiful bodies. All Barre exercises incorporate the fundamentals of Pilates which ensures that you are strengthening efficiently. Barre teachers are highly trained to ensure your form and posture come first in all movements.
Barre Core Challenge
This class is a combination of barre-none and matwork pilates. Hall of this class will be performed on the barre and half on the mat! Come get an amazing workout for your legs, butt, arms & core!
Pilates Mat & Barre
This class will vary from week to week as either a mat class infused with Barre or perhaps one week all mat and one week all Barre. It's the variety you have been looking for!! Total body workout at it's finest!
Pilates
Flexion-Free
In a flexion-free Pilates class, you will learn new ways to work the whole body without using flexion and try fun exercises that safely add challenge to your workout while staying in neutral! Great for individuals who are unable to work in spinal flexion/extension for medical reasons. (for example, diastasis recti, osteoporosis)
This is low impact on the joints, safe for all levels of fitness, flexibility and age!
Rise & Shine Pilates
This morning class combines a variety of high-intensity exercises together while adhering to the basic principles of STOTT Pilates to create long, lean muscles, burn fat and increase fitness levels.

Scolio-Pilates
Join us Sunday Mornings at 9am
Scolio-Pilates Exercise Class, taught by our certified Scolio-Pilates® Practitioner, Erin Finochio, offers those with scoliosis a class to practice safe and effective movements.
This is the class, whether you want to focus on decreasing pain, increasing strength and lengthening, or learning how to best live with your scoliosis. Throughout the class, time will be taken to modify any exercises for your needs and offer education around your unique curve. Fused and unfused spines are welcome.
